
Kelli Higgins, Executive Director

Kelli is the Executive Director for the Autism Community Connection (ACC) since December 2019. Kelli has considerable experience working for a nonprofit organization over the years with lots of knowledge and event planning experience. She is excited to grow ACC programs, build community relationships and continue supporting those affected by autism in the community. Kelli has two daughters affected by autism and lives in Greenwood with her family. Kelli enjoys reading, baking, love for hummingbirds, taking painting classes to relax and spending time with family and friends.

Angie LeBlanc, Impact Raising Director

Angie brings over 10 years of nonprofit experience across a variety of roles to her work in development and fundraising. She is passionate about using her talents to help others and believes that even small acts can have a huge impact on the lives of those we serve. Angie holds a master’s degree in management and leadership and also works as a consultant, helping organizations improve operations and build capacity for greater impact. Originally from Michigan, Angie now lives in Indianapolis with her husband and their cats, where she enjoys live music, reading, playing video games, traveling, and seeking out new experiences.

Hailee Rhodes, Program Coordinator

Hailee joined the ACC team in August 2024. When not working with ACC families, she works for Franklin Community High School in the essentials skills classroom, along with providing respite care for students and family members. She is currently going to school for her Bachelor’s in Special Education and Elementary Education. Hailee lives in Franklin with her daughter and husband. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going on walks, and crafting/organizing items.

Damaris Casillas, Program Assistant
Damaris has been with ACC since May 2025. She recently graduated from Center Grove High School. During her senior year, she was an aide in the special education support classroom, which influenced her passion to work with those who have special needs. In addition to her role at ACC, she serves at her church on the host team as a greeter. Aside from working with ACC, Damaris loves to bake, exploring nature, reading, and all animals. Damaris lives in Greenwood with her mom and her dog. She’s very excited to work alongside a dedicated team to support those with autism and looks forward to helping others around her.

Ava Sullivan, Program Assistant
Ava originally joined ACC in July 2025 as a camp leader for My Summer Journey. She is excited to grow as a Program Assistant and explore her love for working and helping individuals with autism. Ava has a younger brother with autism and lives in Pittsboro with her family. She is also an undergraduate student at IU Indianapolis, majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Business. Ava enjoys exercising, video games, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

Amber Greco, Assistant Program Coordinator
Amber joined ACC in June 2025 as a My Summer Journey camp leader and now serves as Assistant Program Coordinator. She brings over 15 years of experience working with children and adults with disabilities. Amber works as a Skills Specialist for Franklin Community School Corporation, supporting K–12 students while pursuing a degree in Special Education. Amber lives in Franklin with her husband and son and enjoys spending time outdoors, walking, and fishing.

Jama Lacy, My Summer Journey Lead Assistant
Jama has been part of the MSJ program for the past three years. Jama’s professional background includes extensive experience supporting individuals across a broad spectrum of disabilities for many years. She is employed by the Franklin School Corporation, where she works with 5th and 6th-grade students in the Essential Skills and Behavioral areas. This role has been both enlightening and incredibly rewarding, providing Jama with diverse insights into child development and specialized educational support. Jama has had several siblings and family members who navigate a wide range of challenges. She is genuinely committed to continuous learning and professional development, always seeking to expand her expertise to better serve students of all ages and abilities. Jama lives in Franklin with her family and enjoys spending time with her friends.
