Kathy will give a brief overview of some key social skills needed when hanging out in the summer. She will give a few specific examples on ways you can encourage your child to interact with others, from acquaintances to family friends. Q and A will be available to help brainstorm strategies.

This summer, the Indiana Resource Center for Autism staff, in conjunction with autism leaders from school districts across Indiana, and others will present on topics identified by family members to be of particular interest. Register in advance for these webinars (http://go.iu.edu/2uHG). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. The presentations will start at 2:00 pm (Eastern Time) and last approximately 30 minutes. There will be time for global questions and answers after.
